Ground Turkey Casserole

Here’s a version of a ground turkey casserole recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 1/2 cups rice (uncooked)
- 2 cans of cream of mushroom or cream of celery soup
- 1/2 bag frozen beans (such as green beans or mixed vegetables)
- 1 medium squash (sliced zucchini or long neck yellow squash)
- 1 can Durkee onions (for topping)
- Mozzarella cheese (optional)

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare Casserole Dish: Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray (like Pam) to prevent sticking.

Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, uncooked rice, cream of mushroom (or celery) soup, frozen beans, and sliced squash. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Transfer to Dish: Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle the Durkee onions on top. If desired, add mozzarella cheese over the onions.

Bake: Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 1 1/2 hours.
