Get Your Spook On!

Trick or Treat, Smell My Feet, Give Me Something Good to Eat

Halloween, celebrated on October 31st, originates in the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain. This festival marked the transition from harvest to winter, when the boundary between the living and the dead was believed to be thin. The Celts lit bonfires and wore costumes to ward off spirits.

As Christianity spread, it evolved into All Hallows’ Eve, the night before All Saints’ Day. In the 19th century, Irish immigrants brought traditions like pumpkin carving to America. Today, Halloween is a vibrant celebration filled with costumes, trick-or-treating, and festive fun, reflecting a rich blend of cultural influences.
