CHRISTMAS FRUITCAKE COOKIES

Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 (8 oz.) packages pitted dates, chopped
- 3 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) package candied pineapple, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) package candied cherries, quartered
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Eggs: Beat the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
