CHRISTMAS MILLION DOLLAR FUDGE

Here’s a fun and straightforward Christmas recipe that you can make with minimal effort:
Ingredients:
- 4 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 tall can evaporated milk (12 oz)
- 3 (4 oz.) bars of German’s sweet baking chocolate
- 1 pint marshmallow creme
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Dash of salt
- 2 cups pecans or walnuts, chopped (optional)
- 1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Prepare the Pan: Grease an 8 x 8-inch pan with butter. You can use a larger buttered pan if you prefer thinner fudge pieces.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pot, combine the white sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and a dash of salt. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook for 5 minutes.
Prepare the Chocolate Mixture: While the syrup is cooking, place the German’s sweet baking chocolate, marshmallow creme, and semi-sweet chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl.
Combine Syrup and Chocolate: Gradually pour the boiling syrup over the mixture, stirring continuously until the chocolate is melted and everything is well combined.
Add Nuts: If desired, divide the fudge mixture in half. Pour half into the prepared pan. Stir the chopped nuts into the remaining half, then pour it over the first layer in the pan.
Cool and Set: Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 1 hour in a cool place before cutting into squares.
Store: Store the fudge in an airtight container at room temperature.
Enjoy your delicious, rich chocolate fudge! It’s perfect for sharing anytime during the holidays or as a sweet treat!
