Ingredients:
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 5 cups Post Toasties cereal
- 36 large marshmallows
- 1 teaspoon green food coloring
- Red hots (for decoration)
Instructions:
Melt the Mixture: In a large saucepan, melt the butter (or oleo) over low heat. Once melted, add the large marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth.
Add Flavor and Color: Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in the vanilla extract and green food coloring until well combined.
Mix in Cereal: Gently fold in the Post Toasties cereal, mixing until all the cereal is evenly coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Drop onto Wax Paper: Using a teaspoon, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto a sheet of wax paper, forming small mounds.
Decorate: While the mixture is still warm, place three red hots on top of each mound for decoration.
Cool and Set: Allow the treats to cool completely before serving.
