Valentine's Heart Pie

Here’s a fun and straightforward Valentine’s Day recipe that you can make with minimal effort:
Ingredients:
For the Pie:
- 1 cup of water
- 1 packet (3 ounces) strawberry flavored gelatin
- 2 cups of vanilla ice cream
- Milk chocolate kisses or buttons (for decoration)
For the Pie Shell:
- 1 1/2 cups of chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup of butter, softened
Preparation Instructions:
For the Pie Shell:
- Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and softened butter until thoroughly blended.
- Press the mixture evenly into a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes or until fully cooked.
- Allow the pie shell to cool.
For the Pie:
- Stir the water and gelatin in a 4-cup glass measuring cup. Microwave uncovered on full power for 2 minutes.
- Add the vanilla ice cream to the hot gelatin mixture and stir until the ice cream is completely melted.
- Chill the mixture for 30-35 minutes, stirring twice during chilling, until it thickens enough to fall in mounds from a spoon.
- Pour the chilled ice cream mixture into the cooled pie shell and chill for about 4 hours or until the ice cream is completely set.
- Arrange milk chocolate kisses or buttons in a heart shape on top of the pie for decoration.
